4th of July Weekend - Campground Fun!

Friday night was filled with fun on the BIG red swinging ball!

The next morning it was time for Jonas' favorite dump truck!

Then on to swimming - with all the gear!

CHEESE!

We went over to the park - and had fun!!

Recently

Hello!


Recently I've been trying to get caught up on blogging all the pictures I took on our Vacation to Wisconsin and Minnesota.  We had a great time on vacation... but what a job - blogging all the pictures!  I didn't realize how many pictures we took.


It's so much fun to look back at all the pictures and more importantly all the memories we made as a family... hope you're enjoying seeing them all, too.  I've almost completed blogging from vacation ... then on to downloading my pictures from the camera - all that I've taken for the month of July.. ugh!


But... lots of fun!


Update on our kitchen (in case you're curious...)  Mark completed mudding and sanding the walls and ceiling along with the pantry while Jonas and I were out of town!  Yippie!!  It looks wonderful!  Guess what color it is!!


-- Banana Split Yellow!  What a great kitchen color!!  I'll post pictures soon.


Last, but not least, this past Friday we found the perfect door for our pantry.  It's more of a craftsman style door - instead of the regular six panel doors we've been installing in the rest of the house.  It sets it apart from the rest and we love it!!  Mark put that in on Saturday - just need to pick up some pretty white paint and finish it off!  We'll post pics of that when it's complete too.

Our Visit to LaCrosse, WI

LaCrosse has wonderfully high bluffs.  Cliffs that over look the town.

We went up to Grandad Bluff and checked out the views.

We also went to The Pearl a wonderful ice cream shop

where I had a great sundae and Jonas had his first

We also went to the Riverfest on the Mississippi River!

I didn't realize how long his hair was!  Wow!

There were even fun bouncy things!

He said "I'm calling my friend Jack"

and then he proceeded to have a nice long conversation with him!

My Dad's friend, Russ, has these great horses that we try to visit while 

we're in town.  We're so happy we could let Jonas ride them again this year!

June Fire Train

We wouldn't have believed it if we hadn't see it with our own eyes.

The train was ON FIRE! 

The engineer gave us a thumbs up as they rode

by so evidentially they knew they were on fire!

Every time we see a train... Jonas remembers the Fire Train

and asks if it's by Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Hopefully it has been taken care of by now!  : )
