So Blessed!

I am so blessed to have a husband who knows how to

do things around the house and likes to do wood working!

He has rebuilt our home room by room since we've moved in and

we're happy to share that the kitchen is almost complete.

The cabinets are in!! We just had the "ubatuba" granite counters 

from Brazil installed and we really like them.  

There's so much space, it's wonderful!!

More counters around the stove and a wonderful new place

for the cookbooks!  We plan on installing a new microwave above the stove

as well as a new dishwasher by the sink.  We're doing things slowly and 

we sure do love that it's our home.

We had wanted to go to the top but it was closed for renovations.

Jonas was being shy because a little girl said hi to him!

We bought this mineral so Jonas could bring it down to the

local mining shop to have it broken open.  It's his very own treasure.

The road just winds around the lake.  It is so beautiful here.

We visited and toured the Biltmore Estate.

We visited the conservatory where they grow hundreds of varieties of

Orchids.  Jonas liked touching a couple different flowers.  

Did you know that they have a sticky texture?

We had a beautiful time at the Biltmore Estate.

I'd like to grow this in my yard too, 

but I think I'll just have to visit the Biltmore again.

March Cupcake Party!

We joined some of the mom's club members

for an afternoon of fun decorating and eating cupcakes

at a cup-cakery in the mall.

Decorating is serious business for Jonas.... 

he takes after his Daddy!

But eating it is, of course, the best part!!
