Our Little Pumpkin - Happy Halloween!!

A couple months ago Jonas decided he wanted

to be a PUMPKIN for Halloween!  Ok!

We found this costume for him at

a local consignment sale... and he LOVED it!

Jonas' first taste of Halloween this year was last weekend

at a "Trunk or Treat" in downtown Aiken.

We met some good friends there and let the kids check it out.

Jonas was all smiles... until he noticed all the people.

He had a sad look on his face most of the walk around the lot.

He cheered up when it was time to play with his friend Eli!

ON HALLOWEEN DAY...

We went to the mall for trick or treating!

Jonas was excited to be in costume again.

His Daddy led him to the candy...

TRICK OR TREAT!!

Still not sure about the crowds, so after a couple more

stops, we headed home to play!

He played right through naptime! 

We figured he would today.

Too much fun   ...   to sleep!

Jonas was excited about giving candy

to the trick or treaters!

Jonas sat outside on our porch waiting for more

kids to come!

Then it was time to trick or treat at neighbor Judi's house!

It was a slow night for our block.

He was proud of his treats! 

Especially the pumpkin lollypop!

It was a great day for OUR LITTLE PUMPKIN!

Mom's club at the park - Halloween Membership drive

Jonas had a blast at our recent member drive at O'dell weeks park!

Our wonderful public safety came with their fire trucks,

a police car & bloodhounds!  It was so much fun for the kids to see them,

pet the dogs & get their very own helmets. 

We had a great turn out and had just a wonderful day of fun.

I think Jonas wants to be a firefighter when he grows up!

He sure does like the BIG TRUCK!!

He attempted to drive away...

He loved every bit of it!

And time with friends is so special!

The Pumpkin Patch

The search begins...

for the perfect pumpkin!

At the pumpkin patch, today, Jonas was excited to

pick his own pumpkin!!

He really loved the bumpy pumpkins!

There it is!  A dark-orange, bumpy pumpkin!

Jonas had some fun with friends today, too! 

They find the smallest things to entertain themselves...

the joys of childhood!

We love our friends!!

I'm glad I was able to share this with Jonas!

We ended the day with storytime, treats & lunch out with friends!

So much fun today!!

 

Happy Fall!!

SQUISH HUG!

We went to "Chic-a-A" as Jonas says it - for lunch and he

saw their cow waving  to cars out on the street!

He wanted to hug the cow before we even got out of our vehicle! 

"Mommy, can I get a big squish hug from him??!"

When he was finally able to get his SQUISH HUG he was so happy!

Thank you Chic-fil-A for making my son's day!

"Nap Time"

Jonas was supposed to be napping and instead

he decided it was time to play. He took the drawers out

and climbed in! He was crying until we came in and checked on him.

He figured it was ok after we told him he was!

Our Latest Project! Jonas' room renovation

Jonas' room was going to be redone in the future... then it was overtaken by a leaky hot water heater! It has been replaced and the carpet has been torn out! We are down to the bare bones and Jonas can't wait to have a brand new room!

The walls are getting torn apart and eventually replaced...

September 20th - Jonas' birthday party with friends!

"Happy Birthday to myself"

is what he sang up until today

when all of his friends sang to him!

Jonas was blessed with 3 birthdays this year.. 2 with grandparents!

Hopefully he won't be confused next year when he only has one!
