This year for Thanksgiving, we took a road trip up to visit Mark's parents.
Before we left, Jonas and I prepared my Grandma Latscher's dressing recipe. Jonas did a great job cutting up all of the celery for the recipe! He has so much fun in the kitchen.

We had lunch at a great little cafe called the Lily Pad.
We had our very first BLTs with cheese and it was on Ciabatta Bread.
Yum!!
One night Mark's parents took us to our first Christmas dinner show!
It was set up in a very large very nice barn. There were no animals -
They use it for shows and a lot of things they do for the community.
We loved looking at all the Christmas decorations and lights while
we waited for the show to start.
We brought Jonas' scribble and write - he played in between dinner
and the show.

We also took a trip to Ocean City with some of Mark's parent's friends.

We went out for dinner at a wonderful pizza place.
After dinner, we stopped in to pick up some salt water taffy
and a special treat for Jonas.
He was sad that we couldn't stay there longer.
...and then on to the light show!

We even went over a little bridge and had water on both sides of us!
We were just off the coast. We saw glimpses of the
ocean on the way back to the house.

After church on Sunday, we went out for lunch at Cracker Barrel.
